I have reported about my desire to get closer to a Belted Kingfisher here in the blog just recently. Well, another visit in the Green Island Wetlands last weekend lead to this shot. I had the SB800 speed light on camera and was working the bird for almost three minutes. As most birds, the kingfisher didn’t care for the flash and was concentrating on one thing only, the fish in the water. This was the last click before it went down like a rocket.
