The slopes of Mono Dome on the west side of Mono Lake are part of the Inyo National Forest. Right behind these mountains is Yosemite National Park. The snow and trees give the mountain texture and detail and although the clouds are not really dramatic, the mood of this scene made me thinking B&W.
