Have a look at today’s photos. It was “arrival weekend” for many birds in our woods here on top of the bluffs of the Little Maquoketa River, Iowa. Scarlet Tanager ♂️, Not very many people will see a Scarlet Tanager. They don’t make a lot of noise. This one arrived this morning, a second one followed this evening. We are waiting now to see the first female…
